Roberto Branco Martins (PhD) advises and litigates on labour disputes, international transfers and contracts. Roberto looks beyond a dispute or the letter of the law. Roberto has a passion for his profession and looks at matters from a holistic perspective. Background

Roberto is the co-founder and general counsel of the European Football Agents Association (EFAA), the international association for players’ agents, and the co-founder and permanent legal advisor of Pro Agent, the Dutch association for players’ agents.

He is also a lecturer at the University of Amsterdam, where he teaches the subjects Work & Sport and European Employment Law within the Masters of Employment Law track. In 2014, he obtained his PhD at Edge Hill University with a dissertation on the legal impact of social dialogue on European professional football. Roberto also works as a researcher at Edge Hill University.
