Renske de Wijs


Renske de Wijs is a paralegal at BMDW Advocaten and as such she assists the lawyers in their daily work, including contract negotiations on (international) transfers, drafting transfer and representation agreements, employment contracts and termination agreements. In addition, Renske assists in CAS-proceedings and in matters related to intellectual property law.


Renske obtained her master’s degree in Private Law with a specialization in Family Law (cum laude) at the University of Utrecht in 2021. She is currently enrolled in the master Employment Law at the University of Amsterdam, where she also focuses on sports law. During her studies, Renske worked for over four years as a student assistant at the private law department of Utrecht University. She also did a three-month internship at BMDW. During her bachelor’s degree, she also did a minor in Law, Innovation and Technology, which gave her experience in intellectual property law and privacy law. Through her work at BMDW, Renske finds an ideal combination of theory and practice and she feels she has the space to develop both substantively and practically.
