Nick Poggenklaas

Nick Poggenklaas specialises in (international) employment law issues in the sports sector. This includes the termination of players’ contracts and the recovery of salaries and payments. Nick handles cases in the field of football, cycling, esports and motor sports. You can also contact Nick if you need legal assistance in disciplinary and doping cases.
Background
Nick studied at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. Nick completed both a Master in private law and a Master in labour law. Since 2015 Nick worked at a (medium) large law firm before joining BMDW Advocaten on 1 January 2022. In 2021 Nick successfully completed the post-academic specialisation course in Employment Law at the Grotius Academy.
Besides his work as a lawyer, Nick is also involved in the DRC database and is a member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Dutch Handball Association (NHV).
