At BMDW Advocaten, Marit Slings servesin the dual roleof administrative and legal assistant. Heradministrative duties are varied and focused on ensuring the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations at the firm.
In her role as a legal assistant, Marit supports our attorneys with a wide range of legal matters. She does this by, among other things, preparing legal documents, conducting case law research, and assisting with the drafting of pleadings.
Marit is currently in the final stages of her bachelor’s degree in Law at the University of Amsterdam. During her studies, she has developed a broad interest in various areas of law, with a particular affinity for labor law and sports law. After completing her bachelor’s degree, Marit will begin a master’s program in Labor Law.
In addition to her studies, Marit serves as chairperson and volunteer at Stichting Wetwinkel Amsterdam. In this role, she deals with a wide range of civil law issues within the field of social legal practice. She advises clients and works with other volunteers to make legal support more accessible. As chairperson, she is also responsible for the foundation’s operations.
