Donna van der Meer works as a legal assistant at BMDW Advocaten. In her role, Donna supports our lawyers on a variety of legal issues, with a particular focus on both national and international sports law and labor law within the sports sector. Her work includes preparing legal documents, conducting case law research and assisting in the drafting of litigation documents. She also assists in drafting and reviewing various contracts.

Background
Donna received her bachelor's degree in law from the University of Amsterdam, where she focused on liability in sports while writing her thesis.
Following her bachelor's degree, Donna completed the master's degree in Employment Law at the same university. During this master, she further immersed herself in sports law by taking the Labor & Sports course. Her master thesis focused on relegation clauses in Football contracts, with which Donna combined her knowledge in the field of sports law and labor law. She is currently combining her work at BMDW Advocaten with the master's degree in Private Law Practice at the University of Amsterdam.
