Sophia Grippo specializes in both national and international sports law, including matters before the KNVB, FIFA and the CAS. She also provides legal assistance in drafting and reviewing transfer and representation agreements, employment contracts, termination agreements and commission agreements and deals with other employment law issues within sport.
Sophia studied at the University of Amsterdam and obtained her master's degree in Private Law. During her master Sophia gained experience within sports law. Sophia followed the course Labor and Sports and did an internship within the legal profession. Her interest in sports law stems partly from her professional sports career in tennis. Sophia specializes at BMDW Advocaten in national and international sports law, with an emphasis on issues within Football.
Sophia is a member of the Young Footballl Lawyers Association and the Sports and Law Association.
