Arne Al specializes in providing legal advice and support in (international) transfers including contract negotiations, drafting transfer and representation agreements, employment agreements, termination agreements and commission agreements. Arne has provided legal advice in more than 1,250 transfers across more than 35 different countries and has gained very broad experience and a large network. Arne assists soccer clubs, players, trainers as well as soccer agents and is therefore able to provide clients with the right concrete legal advice.
In addition, Arne advises in (inter)national dispute resolution within Football, with special focus on labor law disputes, disciplinary proceedings and has extensive experience in the collection of arrears in FIFA proceedings before the FIFA DRC and PSC including proceedings under Article 12bis and 14bis of the FIFA Regulations.
Arne has registered the following area of law in the Register of Jurisdictions of the Dutch Bar Association:
By virtue of this registration, he is required to obtain ten training credits in this registered principal area of law each calendar year according to the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
Arne has simultaneously successfully completed law studies with a master's degree in Private Law, as well as sports management studies. After completing his studies, Arne joined BMDW in 2018 and has been a partner since 2025. Arne is responsible for all football-related matters within BMDW.
Arne is further an initiator and president of the Association of Young Footballl Lawyers and is a member of the Sports and Law Association.
